Mission Statement
Train 2 Lead is a non-profit organization targeting under privileged youth and high school student-athletes that gives them a blueprint for obtaining and maintaining leadership skills on and off the field.
Vision
We will ensure that student athletes will have access to personalized leadership skills training for their mind and physical training for their body, so that they will be leaders in the classrooms, in their communities, and excel in their prospective sports.

Being a student-athlete greatly improves African American's chances of getting into college.
Stats for African Americans in college:
23% are student athletes
2.3% are just college students
Once they get into college, African American student- athletes struggle compared to their peers. College is the pinnacle of sports for 95% of student athletes. The five percent who go professional are often not set for life and careers are short and 78% suffer financial distress shortly after retiring from their sport.
